First Turns of the Season at Wolf Creek1500 people showed up for opening day at Wolf Creek, but somehow it doesn't look that crowded.This is the earliest Wolf Creek has ever opened. The resot had a base of 35 inches. Wolf Creek will remain open through Columbus Day, and then reopen for Saturday and Sunday, the 15th and 16th, after not operating Tuesday through Friday.
Wolf Creek Ski Area, in southern Colorado opened for the weekend, kicking off an early start to the season. They've already seen 44 inches of snow. If this is La Nina we're all about it.
