Hancock, MA - Over the weekends of September 10-11 and September 17-18, visitors to the Mountain Adventure Parks at Jiminy Peak ski resort in Massachusetts were helping a great cause while enjoying the parks.
A percentage of the ticket sales from those weekends are being donated to Hurricane Irene relief efforts. In total, $13,500 was raised and will be split evenly between the American Red Cross Hurricane Irene relief fund and year-round employees of sister resort Bromley Mountain, located outside Manchester, Vt., who were directly impacted by the storm.
Jiminy Peak staffers have extended their thanks to all who came out to Jiminy and helped raise money for those who are struggling with the effects of Hurricane Irene.
