Gear of the Week: K2 Hardside

K2?s Backside series is designed for off-piste skiing, but we?ve found that Hardside is also a more than capable inbounds ski, too. At 98 underfoot it floated through powder, but it also performed well in chunked up crud, and on the hard stuff.  It?s smooth, stable and powerful: a good all-around ski for people who make turns on both sides of the rope.
