Win A Trip To The Tour de France From Cannondale

Then Cannondale has a Facebook contest with a prize specifically designed for you. The company is giving one lucky fan a chance to attend the race in July and actually become a member of Team Liquigas-Cannondale for a week.
In order to win the contest you'll first have to "Like" Cannondale on their Facebook page and then click on the Tour de France icon to fill out the online form. In addition to providing basic contact information, you'll also be asked questions like who your favorite rider on the team is and what your prefect ride is like. Answering those questions creatively will go a long way toward gaining some attention and impressing the judges, who will select 25 finalist for the next round of the competition. If you make the cut, you'll then be asked to create a short video introducing yourself more fully.
The winner of the competition will receive an all expense paid trip to attend the Tour, where they'll get to hang around backstage at the race for a week. They'll also get to ride in the team car, hand out water bottles, help prep the bikes and more. And if that wasn't enough, the winner will also receive a new Cannondale SuperSix EVO, a bike that is valued at more than $5500. The EVO has been called the "Best Bike in the World," which means it should be more than adequate for your next spin around town.

Filed under: Europe, GreeceWalking through the harbor area in Kos, a Greek island that is part of the Dodecanese group in the eastern Aegean, it's easy to imagine what a Playboy Playmate might feel like were she to take a stroll through a penitentiary buck naked carrying a sign reading, "Kiss Me!" A bit of exaggeration there, perhaps, but not much. Touts, who aggressively peddle meals, drinks, excursions and God knows what else, have long been a fact of life in the Greek isles and in numerous other touristy locales around the globe, but do they actually help increase business or do they scare away potential customers?
In many ways, May and June are the best months to visit the Greek Islands, because the weather is generally good, the prices are low and the crowds are manageable. But the one downside is that all the touts are in place but the crowds haven't arrived yet, so early birds like myself are outnumbered by peddlers.
Our apartment is about a ten minute walk along the harbor into the center of town but during that 10 minute walk, we generally encounter about 20-30 peddlers accosting us with menus, brochures, excursion offers and "Where are you from" come-on's. One gentleman's mantra is simply "very good, very nice!" Hester Nights Brings Night Market Atmosphere To New York City

Tonight marks the kickoff of Hester Nights, a stylish new night market from the team behind the Lower East Side's popular Hester Street Fair. The weekly Thursday night event will bring Hester's renowned selection of food vendors to the courtyard of the Hotel Eventi, a Kimpton property located in midtown Manhattan's red-hot NoMad (North of Madison Square Park) neighborhood. Offerings will include a mix of global foodie favorites like Taiwanese lunch boxes from Bian Dang, Jamaican jerk chicken wings from Spur Tree and French macarons from Macaron Parlour, as well as a lineup of film and multimedia installations focused on fashion and design. The Hester team has also announced that it will be curating a new lifestyle concept shop at the Eventi, which is slated to open later in the summer.
Hester Nights will run every Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., until October 25. The Hotel Eventi is located at 851 Sixth Avenue.
