The Eye of the Condor
What do you get when you send teams of the best skiers, photographers, and videographers to Chile to ski and shoot for five days and pit them against each other with the challenge to come up with the best possible photos and videos? You get the Eye of the Condor, a brand new shoot out. ?The Eye Of The Condor combines world class photographers and videographers with athletes to create a unique competition which puts brands against each other,? says La Parva?s Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing Rodrigo Medina. ?Adam Clark came to me with this idea several months ago, and now the vision has become a reality and this is the first event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and everyone at La Parva is extremely excited to be part of this world class competition.? Over five days, teams of athletes and filmers will battle to produce the best photo portfolio and 3-5 minute video segment. Judges like Ingrid Backstrom and Sherry McConkey will decide which team wins the cash money. There will also be gallery showings, speakers, and fundrasing for the Shane McConkey Foundation and Escuela Farallones, a local school. Our photo editor be there covering the action, so even if you can?t make it to La Parva, you?ll get the inside scoop. Here are the team lineups: Discrete: Photo/Video: Will Wissman, John Roderick.
