Sugar Bowl to Reopen for 4th of July Skiing and Riding for Season Passholders

Norden, CA - With near-record snowfall totals this season and over two feet falling in the past two weeks alone, Sugar Bowl officials announced Thursday that they?ll reopen their California ski resort for skiing and riding on July 4th for the Independence Day holiday.
A festive day of skiing and riding will be complete with a patriotic BBQ and beers out on the Lodge at Sugar Bowl deck. The catch, though, it?s that it?s for Sugar Bowl 2010-11 or 2011-12 season passholders only. They?ll get to access the goods off the Disney lift from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
No groomed runs, beginner skiing, lessons or rentals will be available. Resort officials add that they greatly appreciate that guests leave the dog at home.
