Jackson Hole?s Unprecedented Opening
To simply say that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened this past weekend is a gross understatement. For the first time in resort history the mountain was open wall-to-wall, top-to-bottom on opening day. Over 130? of snow has fallen on the Tetons this season and multiple early season storms have allowed every lift on the mountain to open, including the beloved tram. ?This is the beginning of a season without equal in Jackson Hole history, this has never been seen before? JHMR President Jerry Blann commented in a resort press release. While a La Nina weather pattern has raised uncertainty through the fall concerning snowfall totals for 2010, all we can say is? so far, so good.
